With the Cornelsen School Leadership Study, we give school leaders in Germany a strong public voice as education experts in practice. Based on qualitative, personal interviews and a representative online survey, we regularly address the topics that concern school leaders, highlight the trends that school leaders diagnose and place their visions of schools and education policy at the centre of a comprehensive report.

The aim of the study is to emphasise the role of school leaders in Germany and to send a signal to the political arena that the educational institution of school should be given greater importance in the post-corona era than it has been to date.
The study is being carried out by the FiBS Research Institute for Educational and Social Economics with the participation of Prof Dr Klaus Hurrelmann, Senior Expert at FiBS, together with Cornelsen Verlag.
