Formative evaluation of the kreativraum programme
Formative evaluation of the kreativraum programme
Period:
–The Walter Blüchert Foundation's ‘kreativraum’ programme aims to strengthen children and young people in the long term with a view to their career orientation. The programme is aimed at children and young people in years 5-10. The activities for primary school children are primarily concerned with activating children from disadvantaged backgrounds at an early stage and allowing them to discover their talents and motivations in the company of others. The programme for secondary school pupils (secondary level 1) will increasingly include elements of vocational orientation. The final phase focuses on job application training and support in finding an apprenticeship.
The programme starts in February 2025 at all six primary schools and three secondary schools in Dortmund-Eving and is evaluated by FIBS.
The evaluation sets specific goals in different areas:
to provide input for further concept development,
to accompany cooperation and communication in the municipal network between the cooperation partners and participants in a formative way,
to explore the effects of the programme on participating children and young people as well as on the stakeholders in the participating social space.
