Arvid Radsey-Nickel has been working for us as a Business Developer since October 2022. He is responsible for the conceptual and strategic development of FiBS and Elternhotline gGmbH.

Career

Before joining FiBS, Arvid worked in the field of humanitarian aid in various positions for 6 years in total. Most recently as communications and administration officer for a think tank, where he previously had been working as a research assistant during his studies. As a Carlo-Schmid-Fellow of 2016 (funded by German Academic Exchange Service), Arvid gained practical field experience with the UN World Food Programme (WFP) in Haiti. During Hurricane Matthew Emergency Response Operation, he helped WFP’s logistics cluster to coordinate the relief supplies of 25 aid organisations and assisted in the civil-military cooperation with US troops.

 

Arvid holds a master’s degree in International Development from the University of Vienna and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Berlin School of Economics and Law (HWR). He is interested in global food security and the role of the private sector in humanitarian action and development cooperation (e.g. in Kosovo and Haiti).
